Cream of Wild Rice Soup
A True Minnesota Classic!
A thick, rich, creamy soup full of savory mushrooms, celery, onions and Minnesota Grade A Wild Rice. This soup is great for cold winter days but delicious any time of year. Add 1/2 cup of half and half for the richest flavor or use milk or milk substitute for a lighter and equally pleasing result. Add chicken for a special treat. Makes 2 quarts – enough for 4 – 6 people.
